It's a mixed bag for skiers this week. See a summary of the Ski Club's latest snow report and for more, go to www.skiclub.co.uk.
Broadly speaking the current weather conditions in Europe are complex. There is a lot of snow forecast for pretty much everywhere in the next five days. Conditions and snowfall totals will vary significantly from resort to resort. Expect the biggest snowfalls to be in the central south western areas around Mont Blanc, The Matterhorn and The Eigar. Further around the bend in the North West snowfalls will be less and may fall as mixed precipitation as warm temperatures bring rain.
In the Pyrenees another excellent week of fresh snow is forecast. Andorra will see heavy snowfalls on Sunday. An excellent week ahead without a doubt.
In the far north there is no significant snowfall forecast, dull overcast or cloudy conditions will be the main feature.

NORTH AMERICA OUTLOOK
In the USA expect predominately cloudy skies over the weekend. Snow is expected to be fairly light in Colorado, with only a couple of centimetres predicted. On the other hand, Utah looks set to receive another hammering, with around 100cm set to fall by Tuesday. For those looking to top up the tan then head to New Mexico, where sun is forecast to shine for the most part.
Across the border in Canada the picture is very similar. Clouds today (Friday) should yield slightly greater snowfall than that seen in the USA. As ever Whistler dominates the forecast with big accumulations expected over the weekend, while nearby in Alberta, Sunshine Village should fair pretty well too. Over on the West coast in Quebec, Tremblant and Mont Sainte Anne may receive around 15cm on Sunday.
