Eurostar opens lounge at Gare du Nord

Eurostar has opened a new Business Premier lounge at Paris Gare du Nord.

Situated on the top floor of the 19th century building, the lounge has high ceilings, marble fireplaces, and a cocktail bar.

The rail operator said it was designed by global architects, Softroom, to 'capture the spirit of a Parisian apartment'.

"Moving the Business Premier lounge to a new location within Paris Gare du Nord has enabled us to transform the travellers journey," said Christopher Bagot, director Softroom.

"Set in the top floor of the station, we've re-imagined the striking architecture of the original building, and created a series of different spaces to suit all occasions."

The lounge has complimentary wifi, USB sockets and wireless chargers and catering has been designed in conjunction with Michelin star chef and Eurostar Business Premier Culinary Director, Raymond Blanc OBE.
