Aviate expands into short-haul and regional flights

Long-haul flight specialist, Aviate, has added European short-haul and regional flights to its product offering.

Regional flights operating from non-UK originating airports are now bookable through the flight consolidator's website.

A number of airlines have now gone live and additional airlines are set to be added shortly.

Managing director Mike Edwards said it was a natural progression.

"Aviate has experienced exponential growth recently," he said.

"Although traditionally a long-haul flight specialist, launching into the short-haul and regional markets means that we can now offer our partners a fully integrated, worldwide service.

"Our intention is that future developments will allow users to link regional flights to their international bookings to creative one seamless itinerary. We are committed to continually developing and expanding our product range in new and innovative ways; it's certainly an exciting time for Aviate."
