Royal Caribbean unveils new experiences on Symphony of the Seas

Royal Caribbean has revealed a host of new features for its latest ship, Symphony of the Seas, including a two-level family suite with a slide from the child's bedroom to the living room.

The suite will also include a floor-to-ceiling LEGO wall, an air hockey table and hidden nooks.

Sleeping up to eight, it will also offer a 3D cinema theatre-style TV room, complete with a popcorn machine, and a wrap-around balcony with a pool table, climbing experience and whirlpool.

Symphony, which will start her inaugural season in Europe next April, will also debut new food and beverage outlets, adding to a line-up of more than 20 specialty and complimentary restaurants.

Back by popular demand, 'Hairspray'- the brand's first Broadway musical at sea - will return on Symphony with a total refresh and will headline the Royal Theatre along with a new original Royal Caribbean show, "Flight", a historical satire on the evolution of air travel that ends with homage to the famed Wright Brothers.

In the open-air AquaTheatre amphitheatre, a new show 'HiRo' will feature high-flying diving and acrobatics. Studio B will showcase a new time-travel adventure, a high-tech ice-skating show '1977'.

The cruise line will also debut all mobile check in on Symphony to eliminate queues at reception desks. Guests will check in via a new mobile app and create their onboard account before they leave home, allowing them to go straight to their cabins.
