Las Vegas casino worker guns down two work colleagues

A Las Vegas casino worker is a wanted fugitive after turning up to a company picnic and shooting two co-workers.

Las Vegas Police say 42-year-old Anthony Wrobel opened fire on a table of casino workers from The Venetian, killing one and injuring a second.

The shooting took place Sunday in the city's Sunset Park and police said Wrobel should be considered 'armed and dangerous.'

One of the victims is a Venetian executive, police Lt. Ray Spencer said.

"Those employees were having a picnic when a suspect arrived on scene and walked up to a picnic table where several hotel executives were at," Spencer said.

Police called the shooting a targeted act of workplace violence.

His car was later found at the airport.

"We can confirm there was an incident this evening at Sunset Park involving our team members. the Venetian team is working closely with Las Vegas Metro on the investigation," said Las Vegas Sands VP of public relations Alyssa Anderson.
