Spotlight: Minnesota

Minnesota is known for having 10,000 lakes, but there are actually 11,842 lakes across the state. Each lake has its own unique character, and with it, many things to do in and around the water. If you'd rather take in the lakes from the land, there are plenty of trails and bike paths with gorgeous water views, breath-taking scenery, magnificent forests and beautiful prairieland. Minnesota is also home to Mall of America, the largest enclosed shopping and entertainment complex in the U.S and two of the 21st century's most iconic musicians, Bob Dylan and Prince grew up here.
