World Pride in New York State

New York is the proud host of WorldPride 2019, marking the first time this global celebration has made landfall in the United States. Throughout the summer of 2019 and throughout the state of New York, millions of visitors will be coming to commemorate one of the most significant moments of the LGBTQ rights movement with exciting events, remembrances, street festivals and performances happening.

New York really is a state that has it all, from outdoor adventure to indoor culture, beautiful beaches to unbeatable shopping. World Pride and Stonewall 50 is a state-wide celebration, with special LGBT events, exhibits and activities being planned at museums, performing arts venues and cultural institutions all across the state.

Stunning scenery and outdoor adventure are on offer in the Catskill and Adirondack regions, where guests can make their own summer of love at the site of the original Woodstock Festival (Catskills) or explore restaurants and shops in picturesque villages from Lake George to Lake Placid (Adirondacks).

Throughout New York State, trails lead to award-winning wineries and waterways wind to canal side villages. Gorgeous gorges, waterfalls and lakes at state parks invite couples and families to hike, swim and sail their way through the Empire State.
