5G safety concerns force Alaska Air cancelations

Restrictions linked to 5G wireless service is being blamed for multiple flight cancellations at Paine Field Airport near Seattle. Alaska Airlines said it cancelled flights at the airport.
The 5G issue kicked in due to bad weather. The 5G signals can interfere with some navigation equipment on certain aircraft during low-visibility. It means some regional jets cannot fly in low-visibility conditions at certain airports where 5G is live.
