Accor announces Fiji’s Vomo to be managed locally
Accor has announced that is is ceasing management of its Fiji Vomo resort from 28 February, with the effect of the coup thought to be the main reason.
Accor has been managing the 29 room resort for two years on behalf of the consortium of New Zealand based investors who own the resort but from 1 March 2007, the resort will be operated as Vomo Island Resort.
All bookings made through Accor and other travel industry distribution channels will be honoured by the new management team.
