Agents approve first Canadian discount shuffle
Jetsgo’s decision to begin a discount commuter shuttle between Montreal and Toronto appears to be welcomed by the travel agency community, reported CanadaTourism. Jetsgo announced the new service will begin April 19 with eight daily flights. One-way fares start at $74 and are limited to $150. “Our goal is simple — it’s to establish the first-ever discount shuttle in Canada. Fares between Montreal and Toronto, as we all know, have been too high,” said Jetsgo president Michel Leblanc. Jetsgo is predicting its shuttle will be particularly attractive to business travelers. Jetsgo commissions are 10% on line and five percent otherwise, according to a company spokesman. Report by David Wilkening
