After a months-long halt, flag carrier Air India will restart Israel flights.

From March 2, the airline will resume Tel Aviv flights from New Delhi five times a week.

Flights will be operated using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner jets.

It features 18 flat bed seats in business class and 238 in economy class.

The airline will be the only one operating direct flight between the two countries.

Bookings are now open.

Air India joins other major airlines announcing plans to resume Israel flights.

United Airlines restarts later this month while Delta Air Lines and British Airways will resume in early April.
