All Leisure Group’s last-minute cruise cancellations
All Leisure Group has cancelled two cruises due to depart this week, blaming ‘operational reasons’.
Swan Hellenic’s Minerva was due to depart today for a 15-day voyage of the Canary Islands and Voyages of Discovery’s Voyager was to set sail from Malaysia tomorrow on a 15-day Riches of the Orient cruise.
However, the company posted statements on its websites saying the cruises had been cancelled ‘due to operational reasons’.
All Leisure also owns Hebridean Island Cruises, which doesn’t operate during the winter, and the tour operators Travelsphere and Just You.
It sold its specialist Egypt brand, Discover Egypt, last August to its management team.
All Leisure Group de-listed from the Alternative Investment Market in June last year after months of tough trading conditions.
Its turnover for the year to October 2015 was £127.3 million, down from £138.9 miillion a year earlier, but the group made a £500,000 profit compared with a £7.5 million loss the previous year.
