And relax…CLIA kicks off Cruise Month
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has kicked off its Cruise Month campaign with the key themes of sustainability and wellness.
The September-long campaign will showcase and champion what cruise lines are doing to create a sustainable future and enriching wellness experiences.
Each week throughout Cruise Month, CLIA will focus on a different topic under the ‘wellness’ theme.
The first week is dedicated to relaxation, highlighting the number of options on a cruise holiday that enable guests to feel relaxed and in turn increase positive wellbeing.
CLIA has also created a Cruise Month sustainability guide outlining the latest cruise line news regarding sustainable initiatives, which can accessed here.
CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer said: "A cruise is the ideal escape for anyone searching for the ultimate relaxing holiday."
Examples included in CLIA’s campaign are the introduction by AmaWaterways of a wellness programme across the entire European fleet; increased wellness classes onboard APT ships; an enhanced Wellness on the Water programme with Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and themed IN2BALANCE sailings on board Hapag Lloyd’s Europa 2.
