Another agency goes bust
Another travel company has collapsed, the fourth is little more than two weeks.
ABTA said Stockport-based Great Moor Travel Worldchoice was unable to meet its liabilities and has ceased trading.
It is believed there are 20 forward bookings with the agent. Customers have been advised to contact the tour operator first before approaching ABTA.
The failure is the latest in a flurry of company closures. Tour operator Startrek Travel folded earlier this month and its £250,000 bond called by the CAA, followed 24 hours later by two-branch agency Value Holidays and Travel.
Last week, another tour operator, Azure Holidays, ceased trading and had its £80,000 bond called.
