Archaeological holidays specialist partners with river cruise line

Archaeological holidays operator Andante Travels has partnered with A-ROSA River Cruises to offer a selection of archaeology-themed river cruises on the Rhone, Rhine and Danube in 2020.

Each cruise includes exclusive private excursions and is accompanied by an Andante expert guide lecturer.

There are five itineraries on board three different A-ROSA ships – A-ROSA STELLA (Rhone), A-ROSA DONNA (Danube) and A-ROSA AQUA (Rhine).

Customers will stay on a premium all-inclusive basis, with gourmet buffets and drinks included.

To celebrate the launch of these new cruises, agents can earn a £20 Love2Shop voucher for every 2020 booking they make between now and 31 October 2019.

Lucia Rowe, managing director of A-ROSA River Cruises UK & Ireland said: "Combining our river cruises with the chance to delve deeper into some of the destinations we visit is such an exciting development for us.

"Special interest cruises are always popular and I urge agents to research local societies and clubs in their areas and ensure they are aware of these new itineraries as it might just result in a group booking."

Prices start from £1649pp for a five-day ‘Cruising the Rhine: Medieval Cathedrals at Christmas’ cruise on board A-ROSA AQUA, departing 23 December 2020.
