ATOL honeymoon specialist collapses
Tailormade holidays and honeymoon specialist The Couture Travel Company has ceased trading.
The Berkshire-based business operated as couture.travel and couturetravelcompany.com.
The 12-year-old company, which ceased trading on March 31, specialised in long-haul and honeymoon destinations.
The Civil Aviation Authority said its package holiday sales were covered by the company’s ATOL.
It said customers who held an ATOL Certificate plus scheduled flight tickets might still be able to use them to travel, but they might have to pay again and claim refunds for other elements of the package such as accommodation.
Passengers without flight tickets or those who no longer wish to travel should apply for a refund. Further information is available on the CAA website.
