Azamara Club Cruises is simplifying its name with a new rebrand.

It will jettison the ‘Club Cruises’ from of its name to simply become Azamara.

The rebrand will see a new logo.

The revamp reflects its current positioning to expand beyond just being a cruise operator.

It is significantly expanding its land tour offerings

Pre- and post-cruise stays are being offered on every itinerary starting from October this year, from three to six night stays.

In total it will offer about 1,700 tours.

Luxury operator Cox & Kings will be responsible for three-quarters of Azamara’s land tours and it is also partnering with tour partners such as PerryGolf and COLTUR Peru.

"We are venturing beyond the sea, big time," said Azamara CEO Larry Pimentel.

He said the shipboard experience will remain the same.

Land programs span dozens of countries and include adventures such as African safaris and jungle trekking in Borneo, as well as a short ‘Stay Local’ program pre- or post-cruise stay in a port city of region.

All tours will be available by October 2019.

Azamara will roll out online training for the new programs for travel partners soon.
