BA and Air France to stop Iran flights
British Airways and Air France will stop flying to Iran next month.
Both said their Iran services were ‘not commercially viable’.
BA’s last flight will be on September 22, returning the following day.
The airline relaunched flights to Tehran two years ago after a four-year gap.
It apologised to affected travellers and is offering refunds or a possible rerouting.
Air France will stop all flights on September 18.
KLM said last month it would also suspend Iran flights from September.
The recent reintroduction of US sanctions has prompted many European firms to stop doing business with Iran.
