Banyan Tree Samui rolls out ‘White Lotus’ Island tours
Guests at five-star Thai resort Banyan Tree Samui can now recreate their favourite White Lotus moments.
The resort is now offering tours and day trips to the Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park.
These islands and limestone cliffs in the marine park are the backdrop to some of most memorable scenes in the third series of The White Lotus, especially the opening and dramatic finale.
Banyan Tree Samui’s new speedboat, Sense of the Seas will whisk set-jetting fans to the archipelago.
It is made up of 42 islands, limestone cliffs, lagoons and white sandy beaches.
Guests at Banyan Tree Samui can now experience an eight-hour excursion (maximum 15 persons) around Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park.
The boat has been adapted to cater for luxury day trips, picnics, and celebrations.
Other excursions include a six-hour round trip to Koh Phangan, site of the infamous Full Moon Party portrayed in The White Lotus.
Guest have the option of more sedate sightseeing with the 5 Islands Sunset Cruise or a 4-6 hour boat trip to Koh Taen and Koh Matsum, two small and barely inhabited islands.
All speedboat tours can be tailor-made for private groups or special occasions.
The small islands are inhabited with monkeys and monitor lizards, and have pristine coral reef sfor snorkeling .
Banyan Tree Samui has also announced new ‘White Lotus Effect’ wellness experiences.
Last month, Banyan Tree Spa Samui introduced a “Sense of Lotus” spa package — a 120-minute rejuvenating treatment.
The Thailand resort features 88 villas and a private beach is flanked by coral reefs.
The resort houses three restaurants including Saffron which was recently listed in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide.
Other onsite facilities include a kids’ club, a meetings and events centre, and a library.
