Banyan Tree signs Krabi luxury resort
Luxury hotel group Banyan Tree Holdings Ltd is bringing a new resort to Thailand.
It will plant its flag in Krabi, and expects to open in April 2020, offering 72 pool suites and villas.
These will include several two-bedroom units and one three-bedroom villa.
Banyan Tree Krabi will feature all-day dining, a ballroom, a wedding chapel, a beach club and a fitness centre.
It will also have a rainforest-themed spa.
Situated on Tubkaek Beach, the resort is just 45 minutes from Krabi Airport and close to Mu Ko Phi Phi and Khao Ngon Nak national parks.
The Banyan Tree Group comprises a multi-brand portfolio which includes Banyan Tree, Angsana, Dhawa and Cassia branded hotels and resorts.
