Benchmark-Gemstone Hotels teams up with Teneo Hospitality Group

Friday, 19 Sep, 2016 0
The recently merged Benchmark Resorts and Gemstone Hotels have tapped Teneo Hospitality Group to increase group business.

The companies have formed a strategic partnership to generate increased group bookings for the Benchmark and Gemstone combined portfolio which now numbers 58 hotels, resorts and conference centers.

Teneo was established in 2013 and represents more than 300 luxury hotels, resorts and destination management companies globally.

"All of the Benchmark and Gemstone properties can actively benefit from Teneo’s expertise and services, which include targeted meeting planner events to bring hotels and planners together," said Tom Faust, Benchmark sales VP.

Teneo organizes about 20 networking events each year in the US.

"There is a growing appetite in the group meetings market for individual personal luxury or boutique hotels as well as for dedicated conference facilities. Teneo will provide business for all Benchmark properties, not just the more traditional meetings-related hotels and conference centers," said Teneo president Mike Schugt.
