Branson eyes Bali resort
Sir Richard Branson is rumoured to be adding to his global property empire by buying the Linda Garland Estate, which is also known as The Pancharon Retreat, in Bali.
The 10-hectare property, located near Ubud, has seven separate villas, a 26 metre lap pool filled with spring water and yoga pavilion.
Branson owns Necker Island in the Caribbean and has shared ownership with former Virgin Australia boss Brett Godfrey of Makepeace Island, a Balinese-styled property on the Noosa River in Queensland, which can be rented for $1000 per person per night during peak season.
Pancharon was used as a location shoot in the Hollywood movie Eat Pray Love which starred Julia Roberts.
