Captain Cook Cruises Absorbs Increased Fijian VAT
Captain Cook Cruises has announced that it will be absorbing the increased Fijian Value Added Tax (VAT) from 12.5% to 15% on all bookings from January 01, 2007 until March 31st 2007.
This is the second tax increase effecting Fijian tourism in the 2006/07 tourism year and Captain Cook says that as a gesture of support for our trading partners and to ensure a seamless summer season, Captain Cook Cruises Fiji Island, has chosen to bear the cost of the increased tax for all passengers cruising between 01 January and 31 March 2007.
Captain Cook Cruises offers three, four and seven night cruises around the islands of Fiji onboard the 120 passenger small cruise ship, MV Reef Escape.
