Carlson Rezidor adding three new hotels in India
Hotel group Carlson Rezidor is ramping up expansion in the India market with another three signings, increasing its presence to 45 Indian cities.
The company will debut in Kerala with the converted 150-key Radisson Blu Kochi Elamkulam.
In addition two new builds will be constructed, namely Radisson Resort Mahabaleshwar and Radisson Gurgaon Sohna Road, in Delhi NCR.
"We have a strong and active development pipeline, with many of these projects already under construction. Our strategy to concurrently strengthen our presence in state capitals, as well as emerging secondary and tertiary cities, is delivering the robust growth that we anticipated," said Raj Rana, CEO South Asia, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
Rana expects the India portfolio to reach 170 hotels within five years.
Earlier this year, Carlson inked agreements for Radisson Hosur, Radisson Dehradun and Radisson Goa Candolim in India, for a total of 41 properties currently under development in the country.
