Celebrity Apex arrives in Southampton
Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship, Celebrity Apex, has arrived in Southampton where crew are preparing for its first transatlantic sailing to Miami.
Celebrity Apex was due to have been the first of the line’s ships to be launched in the UK for over a decade, prior to the pandemic. However, the proposed naming ceremony on 30 March had to be scapped, as did its planned summer cruises in the Mediterranean.
It will now re-position to the US for the winter.
The ship was welcomed by Jo Rzymowska, Vice President & Managing Director, EMEA for Celebrity Cruises.
