Celebrity expands ConciergeClass

Tuesday, 14 Oct, 2004 0

Demand has been so high for “ConciergeClass” that Celebrity Cruises is expanding it after just one year of operation.

Starting this year, the number of Celebrity ConciergeClass staterooms will more than double, from 100 to 228 staterooms, said Dietmar Wertanzl, senior vice president of fleet operations.

Each ConciergeClass stateroom is 191 square feet with a 41-square-foot veranda.

Guests booking ConciergeClass immediately receive a bottle of chilled champagne, fresh flowers and fruit. Other in-room amenities include pillow selections.

Additional amenities include personalized stationary, shoeshine service and a special breakfast menu for room service.

Amenities extend to the veranda, which has a table large enough for dining al fresco and offers high-powered binoculars to view the unfolding scenery.

Celebrity sails in the Arctic, Antarctic, Alaska, Bermuda, California, the Caribbean, Europe, the Galapagos Islands, Hawaii, the Mexican Riviera, the Panama Canal and South America.
