Celestyal acquires third cruise ship

Greece and Eastern Mediterranean specialist line Celestyal has made a cruise ship acquisition.
The newly renamed 1,260-guest Celestyal Journey was most recently sailing for P&O Australia.
It was originally the Ryndam for Holland America Line.
The cruise ship will now undergo an extensive €20 million refurbishment and maintenance overhaul before entering service.
“The positive industry outlook provides Celestyal with the opportunity to recommence fleet renewal,” said Chris Theophilides, CEO.
It currently operates Celestyal Crystal and Celestyal Olympia.
Details regarding the onboard experience and itineraries for Celestyal Journey will be announced in due course.
