Malaysia has welcomed its first homeported Chinese operated cruise ship sailing domestically.
MV Piano Land is sailing domestic voyages out of Port Klang, near Kuala Lumpur, offering west coast voyages to Penang and Langkawi.
“Although the cruise ship sails within Malaysia, it has still received good demand from foreign tourists, such as Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore,“ said Tourism Malaysia deputy chairman Yeoh Soon Hin.
Piano Land will sail a total of 11 cruises through December 25.
