China Southern offers Perth launch special fares
China Southern Airlines is offering special introductory fares from $680 return to mark the launch of its latest Australian destination, Perth.
Until October 17, economy fares from Perth to Guangzhou, the airline’s hub in southern China, are priced from just $680 return including taxes, a discount of more than 20 percent.
Business class fares start from $3280 return including taxes.
China Southern, China’s largest airline, make will make its inaugural flight from Perth to Guangzhou on November 9, becoming only the second international airline offering first class seats from Western Australia’s capital.
The airline will fly between Perth and Guangzhou on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings, using new Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which feature sleeper seats in business class and fully flatbed seats with a massage function in first class.
China Southern presently offers double daily connections from Guangzhou to Sydney and will go double daily direct to Melbourne over the summer while increasing to four flights a week to Brisbane at the end of October.
The introductory sale runs until October 17 for travel from Perth to Guangzhou between November 9 and December 8, 2011.
