Inbound China tourism makes a comeback.
The first flights under China’s new Covid -19 management for international travellers touched down.
It marks the first quarantine-free travel in three years.
Over 380 passengers were aboard two flights from Toronto to Guangzhou and Singapore to Shenzhen.
Travellers must take a nucleic acid test within 48 hours before departure, and they no longer need to request a health code.
Airlines and airports have been stepping up efforts to meet an increase in inbound China tourism.
Layout and facilities have been upgraded at Beijing Airport.
China is also resuming passenger entry and exit at sea and land ports.
