China visas for Japan travellers have been reinstated.
China banned inbound travel for Japan and South Korea nationals several weeks ago in a tit-for-tat move.
Both countries demanded inbound Chinese travellers submit a negative Covid-19 test before travel .
Japan’s Foreign Minister protested the ‘extremely regrettable’ move.
Although China visas for Japan nationals can now resume, there is no confirmation the ban for South Koreans will end.
