CLIA Europe appoints secretary general
CLIA has announced Thomas Boardley will join on October 1 as secretary general CLIA Europe
In his new role, he will play a key part in strategically implementing CLIA programmes across Europe.
Boardley most recently held the position of executive vice president, corporate & external affairs, Lloyd’s Register.
He began his career with OCL as a graduate trainee in 1978 and was with OCL, P&OCL, P&O Containers, and latterly P&O Nedlloyd and P&O Ports, for 26 years.
"Tom’s extensive industry body experience makes him a welcome addition to our leadership team," said Cindy D’Aoust, CLIA president and CEO.
"These are dynamic times for the European cruise market and I look forward to working with Tom to ensure the future continued success of the cruise market throughout Europe."
