Colorado skiing: racing downhill
Members of Colorado Ski Country USA reported record numbers of visitors for the first part of the ski season.
For the time up to the end of December, more than 3 million skier visits were reported for the state’s 25 ski areas.
That number represented an increase of 5.6% over the previous year.
One reason for the record numbers: huge snowfalls.
Ski officials said there was no reason to think the season would see any slowdowns.
