Cunard starts second ‘sale’

Discounts of between £50 and £300 per person are being offered in a three month cruise sale by Cunard Line.
 
The company’s second ‘sale’ starts tomorrow (December 1) and covers bookings made before February 28, 2010.
 
Sale prices for Queen Mary 2’s transatlantic crossings start at £899 per person, including a flight in the opposite direction.
 
A 12-night Mediterranean cruise on QM2 departing on September 19 next year now starts at £1,499 per person.
 
Queen Victoria sailings now lead-in at £569 for a four-night mini cruise. The ship’s first 10-night round British Isles voyage has a revised starting price of £1,269. Seven-night Mediterranean fly-cruises lead-in of £899 per person.
Cunard president and managing director Peter Shanks said: “In the current challenging economic climate, customers not only want a quality experience but they also deserve value for money. The return of the extremely popular ‘Cunard Sale’ gives them just that.”
