Delight at Turkish-Amadeus pact
Turkish Airlines and Amadeus have signed a three-year full content agreement that guarantees all travel agents worldwide access to the full range of the carriers’ fares, inventory and schedules.
The new agreement offers Amadeus’ subscribers outside of Turkey the same level of fares, availability and functionality as the airline distributes through its own website.
David Doctor, director airline and travel agency, said Amadeus was a significant provider of distribution reach to Turkish Airlines “and this contract lays the ground for a stable long-term cooperation with the carrierâ€.
With an annual passenger volume of 30 million, Turkish Airlines is one the fastest-growing airlines in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
Amadeus has recently signed content agreements with key airlines, including AerolÃneas Argentinas, TAP Portugal, Cathay Pacific and Alitalia.
