Delta announces launch date for Saudi flights
Delta Air Lines has announced the launch date of its first ever flights to Saudi Arabia.
The carrier begins flying from its Atlanta hub to Riyadh on October 23, 2026.
It will be the first nonstop route to Saudi by a US airline.
The only other airline that currently flies to the US is Saudia, which serves New York JFK, and Washington Dulles from Riyadh.
It also flies to JFK, Washington Dulles and Los Angeles from Jeddah.
Delta’s new route is operated on Airbus A350-900, with business, premium economy and economy service.
“Delta’s new nonstop flights between Atlanta and Riyadh mark a significant milestone in strengthening global connectivity between our nations and will open new doors for tourism and cultural exchange,” said Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism for Saudi Arabia
