Dubai Parks and Resorts confirms opening date
Dubai Parks and Resorts has announced that the region’s largest theme park destination will open at the end of October.
It will consist of three theme parks – Bollywood Parks Dubai, MOTIONGATE Dubai, and LEGOLAND Dubai, together with LEGOLAND Water Park.
The destination will also include Riverland Dubai, a themed retail, dining, and entertainment experience, along with the Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian-themed family resort.
The range of products and prices will be announced soon.
"This has been a long-time coming," said Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai Parks and Resorts.
"Nothing of this magnitude has ever been done before, and we look forward to offering our guests close to 100 unforgettable rides, attractions and experiences.
"As the largest entertainment destination in the region, Dubai Parks and Resorts will support the UAE’s tourism vision and grow the family leisure industry in the region."
Tickets for arrivals from November 1 are now on sale. Barrhead Travel, Gold Medal, Travel 2 and Thomas Cook are among a list of partners that have signed joint marketing deals with Dubai Parks and Resorts to package and promote tickets.
Dosomethingdifferent.com and Attraction World will also sell tickets. Agent training will be rolled-out and co-ordinated through My Booking Rewards (MBR) – www.mybookingrewards.com, an online rewards and incentives company.
