Fred. Olsen Travel has announced further expansion plans with the upcoming opening of its 22nd high street shop in Chichester later this month.

It takes the company’s Sussex portfolio of shops to four after Worthing, Eastbourne and Heathfield.

The new store will be Fred. Olsen Travel’s fifth concept store.

TUI, Travelsphere & Just You, Azamara, Wendy Wu Tours and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines are all supporting the branch with in-store branding.

The store will be led by Roger Mallock who is joining as branch manager 25 years after opening a Bath Travel agency in the same town.

He brings decades of travel experience, having started in the industry in the 1980s.

The new shop is in a prime location in the centre of Chichester.

The branch’s grand opening is set to take place on 9 October.

Paul Hardwick, Fred. Olsen Travel’s director of retail, said: “We are delighted to be further expanding our retail footprint and adding to our recently established cluster of shops in Sussex.”

Fred. Olsen Travel has been on the high street for 36 years with 22 travel agencies.

It has added seven new shops in the past four years.
