Guest threatened over hotel review
An oversensitive Thai hotel owner is threatening to sue a guest over a slightly negative review. The guests posted a lukewarm 6/10 review on a travel site, although her only real criticism was that it was overpriced.
The hotel in Khao Yai demanded the review be removed and she pays a THB3 million penalty. It even ordered her to publish a public apology in several Thai newspapers.
The guest’s lawyers are investigating who deleted the review and how the hotel traced her as the review was posted anonymously.
