Hard Rock expands SAFE + SOUND program to meetings

Tuesday, 28 Oct, 2020 0

Hard Rock International is expanding its SAFE + SOUND sanitation program into its conference and event spaces.

The new Meet SAFE + SOUND program has been developed for in-person meetings and events.

It has been created with input from public health and sanitisation specialists including Ecolab and NSF International covering sanitation, food handling and employee training.

To be designated, each hotel is independently inspected by NSF International and has to pass a 262-point inspection.

"Hard Rock’s top priority is keeping our guests and team members safe and healthy as we adapt to a new normal for the MICE community," said Danielle Babilino, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing at Hard Rock International.

Protocols have been adapted to meet the specific needs of MICE events, which includes thermal temperature screening on arrival, the mandatory use of face masks for all guests and team members, and enhanced sanitizing and disinfecting protocols, especially on high-touch areas.

All third-party contractors are required to follow all Meet SAFE + SOUND protocols.

All hotels will adhere to local and government mandated policies in force at the time regarding in-person capacity limits.

Some properties, like Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, are offering various options, such as event spaces for virtual, in-person and pre-recorded meetings.
