Hotelbeds expands into South America

TUI Travel-owned Hotelbeds has expanded into South America by signing an agreement with hotel chain GHL Hotels to supply its full portfolio of properties on its website.

The trade-only beds wholesaler will feature 6,000 hotel rooms in South America, while GHL now has access to Hotelbeds’ international client base of travel agents, airlines and tour operators.

GHL has 48 hotels in 27 destinations in South America, including Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Panama and Peru.

Christian Kremers, Hotelbeds regional director Latam & Caribbean, said the new partnership was based on the success of its partnership with GHL in Colombia. "We are delighted to extend this partnership across Latin America, bringing all of GHL products at the most competitive market rates and conditions to our customers," he said.
