Hotelbeds, NYU team up to inspire tomorrow’s travel tech leaders

Bedbank Hotelbeds has teamed up with the NYU School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality to inspire future travel tech pioneers.
It is an initiative through HotelBeds’ TravelTech Lab and the school’s Innovation Hub Incubator Programme.
The two organizations will work together over the next three years to uncover disruptive ideas in travel aimed at improving customer experience.
The NYU SPS Tisch Center established its start-up program in 2021, and Hotelbeds launched the TravelTech Lab earlier this year.
TravelTech Lab will complement the Hospitality Innovation Hub Incubator Program, which helps NYU-affiliated startups plan, launch and manage businesses.
It provides support and mentorship.
The agreement will also open new areas for collaboration between entrepreneurs in the US and Europe.
Hotelbeds will host one of the Tisch Center “Pitch Your Passion & Seal the Deal” competitions in Palma de Mallorca or its TravelTech Lab in Madrid.
The competition has been part of recent semesters in which NYU-affiliated hospitality startups have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes.
Nicolas Huss, Hotelbeds CEO, said: “Innovation is a key focus on our goal to reduce friction across the travel ecosystem.”
“Bringing our two innovation hubs together is a powerful combination.”
