Travel metasearch engine KAYAK has tapped open distributor Impala to boost its hotel search capabilities

KAYAK is adding 200,000 hotel rooms from Impala’s hotel portfolio, available on KAYAK and its brands globally.

Rachel Hafner, VP Global Hotels at KAYAK: “The addition of Impala’s hotel inventory increases the choice for our users with new, differentiated accommodation providers.”

“This is especially in destinations where demand is outgrowing supply, such as the UK, Italy and the Middle East.”

Impala’s hotel inventory will be featured across KAYAK and its travel meta search brands SWOODOO, checkfelix, momondo, Cheapflights, Mundi and HotelsCombined.

Impala’s partners can now get direct bookings through KAYAK, while KAYAK users will have access to luxury hotel chains, such as Top Hotels International, Como Hotels and Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

KAYAK’s direct booking platform, known as Revato, allows properties to get direct bookings and can customize the user experience.
