Inghams, Ski Total and Flexiski throw in the towel
Inghams, Ski Total and Flexiski have followed Crystal and cancelled all holidays for the rest of the ski season.
Parent company Hotelplan said the decision was made due to ongoing travel restrictions and news that more resorts aren’t planning to reopen.
UK CEO Joe Ponte said: "With many skiers and snowboarders eager to get back to the slopes this season, while there was still a possibility that ski holidays would go ahead, we continued to monitor the situation closely.
"As there has been little change to ongoing travel restrictions, and with further ski resorts announcing that they will remain closed, now is the time to suspend ski trips for this season and focus on making next winter one of the best yet."
He said bookings for next season are well ahead of this time last year, prompting Hotelplan’s UK brands to look at increasing capacity.
