John Kerry to headline WTTC Global Summit in Perth
The 68th U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will headline as keynote speaker at the World Travel & Tourism Council’s Global Summit in Perth next month.
The Global Summit takes place from 8 – 10 October.
In 2021, Kerry became the first Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, and the first Principal to sit on the National Security Council solely focused on climate issues.
He is a decorated Vietnam War veteran, with a Silver Star, a Bronze Star with Combat V, and three Purple Hearts.

The Global Summit see a gathering of tourism industry leaders and government representatives from around the world to collaborate on sustainable tourism strategies.
Australian conservationist Robert Irwin will also take to the stage in Perth.
Hosted by Tourism Western Australia, other confirmed speakers include Matt Goldberg, TripAdvisor CEO, Audrey Hendley and James Thornton, Intrepid Travel CEO.
