Largest resort in Ibiza to open next spring
A hotel group is aiming to turn Ibiza’s Playa d’en Bossa resort into one of the Mediterranean’s top tourist destinations with the opening of a new five-star family friendly hotel.
The Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa is due to welcome its first guests in spring 2015.
The former Fiesta Club Palm Beach is undergoing a complete renovation, which will involve turning half of the 430 guest rooms into suites and introducing a new ultra-modern décor and a Mediterranean design.
Along with neighbouring Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa, the two hotels will create the largest resort in Ibiza, where guests of both hotels can share facilities, as they do at existing Grand Palladium Resorts in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa will have a large freshwater pool with an integrated Jacuzzi and Balinese-style sun loungers as well as two tennis courts. Guests will have access to the outdoor pools a Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa as well as the kids’ splash pool and the Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness centre.
Palladium Hotel Group has two other properties in Playa d’en Bossa; Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel and the new Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, both of which attract top artists to play during the summer months.
