MakeMyTrip adds Radisson Hotel Group portfolio
Radisson Hotel Group has sealed a distribution partnership with Indian online travel giant MakeMyTrip.
Radisson’s entire portfolio of 1,400 hotels and resorts across several brands will be available via MakeMyTrip.com, its mobile app and other MakeMyTrip platforms.
The deal will see MakeMyTrip become one of Radisson Hotel Group’s largest OTA partners in the Asia Pacific region.
"India has been a key focus market for Radisson Hotel Group for many years, so forming a global partnership with India’s largest OTA is a natural progression of this strategy. We are fully committed to our Indian guests," said Saurabh Prakash, Radisson’s vice president of commercial, Asia Pacific.
Both parties are working on streamlining the partnership by building a direct connect interface to provide a more seamless way of distributing hotel rates and promotions.
The alliance will also include joint marketing campaigns.
Radisson Hotel Group says it is on track to reach 100 properties open in India by the end of 2018, making it one of the largest Indian portfolios for an international hospitality company.
