Marcus Hotels appoints new president

Marcus Hotels & Resorts has named Joseph Khairallah as president.
 
Khairallah joined Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels in 2013 as chief operating officer and is a member of the Marcus Corp executive management committee.
 
"Joe has built an organization focused on operational excellence, profitability, quality and integrity," said Marcus Corp. president and CEO Greg Marcus in a statement.
 
"Under his leadership, the hotel division has enjoyed strong financial performance while continuing its unwavering commitment to exceptional guest service. We look forward to the continued success of the hotel division."
 
He joined from Hyatt Corp where he spent 30 years in a variety of roles beginning as a trainee at Grand Hyatt New York to vice president of rooms, spa and security for Hyatt Americas Group, responsible for of a portfolio of 155 hotels.
 
Marcus Hotels & Resorts operates 18 hotels nationwide on behalf of independent and global chains including Marriott, Hilton and Intercontinental Hotels Group.
