Mauritius growing number of international travelers reflects its success. According to Statistics Mauritius, the country recorded last year 1,382,177 international arrivals, up 6.7% over 2023.
The five top incoming markets were France with 339,421 arrivals (+6.2%), the UK with 158,188 arrivals (+8.5%), Reunion Island at 140,618 (+4.8%), Germany at 123,825 (+4.5%) and South Africa at 106,542 (+0.4%). From January to May 2025, total international arrivals grew by 0.8% to 561,636.
