Tickled Trout Relaunches Meeting@
In July, the Macdonald Tickled Trout Hotel in Preston announced it is spearheading the re-launch of the hotel Group’s conference and meetings product, Meeting@ only weeks after it celebrated the reopening of its conference and meeting facility.
The hotel, which was badly damaged during the January floods, has had its conference rooms refurbished and car parking facilities upgraded. As part of the Meeting@ re-launch, the hotel is rolling out a seasonal conference and banqueting wine menu as well as additional features to the meeting rooms such as mini-fridges.
The initiative, Meeting@ was first introduced by Macdonald Hotels & Resorts to the market in 2005 and has already contributed to a 10% rise year on year in the group’s meeting and event revenue, but in 2008 is being evolved to stay in tune with the changing needs of the meeting planner.
The refreshed Meeting@ will continue to follow the same principals of: attention to detail, fresh and innovative food, and a consistent complete meetings product throughout the group’s four and five star properties.
